Not sure why anyone would want to know any more about me. (This whole site is about me!)

But here are a few biographical details that might be helpful...

Pattie Weiss Levy is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Hartford Courant, USA Today, New York magazine, Good Housekeeping, Reader's Digest, and The Connecticut Jewish Ledger.

She graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in English and American Literature.

She has guest-lectured on journalism at The University of Connecticut and the University of Hartford, coached a girls' soccer team for eight seasons, been the faculty advisor to a high school newspaper and written enough Purim shpiel lyrics to kill a Haman.

She is a proud, paperback-carrying member of a women's book group called The Shayna Maidels.

She's a confirmed lefty (in both hand and political orientation), a Capricorn, and an avid cook. A housekeeper? Not so much.

She's the mother of two, a son and a daughter, about whom she's more than happy to talk.

She grew up in suburban New York and now lives in Connecticut with her husband and Latke, their Portuguese Water Dog.
