In the last 4,000 years, many have been lost

Hate crimes and the Holocaust
And yet our faith has still endured
As our large presence here reveals

We keep Shabbat

And we give gelt on Hanukkah
And to the poor give tzedakah
And our brides and grooms still marry
Standing under a chupah!
